A non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1988 to provide socio-educational assistance for children and adolescents in Morro da Penitenciária, which belongs to the Trindade neighborhood in the city of Florianopolis, in Brazil.

The Children´s House serves 110 children and adolescents after school, offering pedagogical support and 05 meals a day.

​

The opening hours are from 8 am to 5 pm.

​

Foster growth in the affective, cognitive and social areas of children and adolescents, so they can contribute to the construction of a fraternal society.

Be an institution recognized for its transparency and commitment to partners and the community where it operates, with sustainability, thus allowing the broadening of the horizons of assisted children and adolescents.

Objectives

Enable the integral development of children and adolescents, from 06 to 17 years of age, in an alternating period to the regular school, in search of the enrichment of potentialities, ensuring gains in school, social and cultural learning; 

 

Promote the formation of children and adolescents for life in the practice of citizenship, offering spaces and learning situations for the construction of ethical values and participation in public life;

 

Stimulate the participation and development of skills for social life and life projects, autonomy in solving daily problems and the appropriation of new knowledge.
